President’s Message
Each year, Weigl brings education to life with the best in educational publishing. This year, we are excited to announce 106 new titles, including four new Canadian series—Canada’s Land and People, Canadian Aboriginal Art and Culture, Linking Canadian Communities,
and Wonders of Canada. We have also extended our Remarkable Canadians series by adding nine new titles—from Tommy Douglas
and Frederick Banting to Jarome Iginla and Avril Lavigne.
What a Year!
Canada’s Land and People explores the features, cultures, and symbols that make each of Canada’s provinces and territories unique. Learn about the traditional ways of life of some of Canada’s Aboriginal Peoples by examining their homes, clothing, and celebrations in Canadian Aboriginal Art and Culture. Linking Canadian Communities explains to young readers how
urban and rural communities are connected by industry. Journey to some of Canada’s most spectacular heritage sites with the Wonders of Canada series.
In addition to creating exceptional Canadian series, Weigl is known for developing engaging science titles. This year, we have added four science series to our list, as well as a biography series, two physical education series, and readers for K–3 students.
Throughout the next year, Weigl will continue to bring education to life by developing
engaging new titles that encourage readers to reach new heights.
